sentence. And if these last sentences are clearly supporting details for
the idea in the first sentence, you’ll know that the first sentence pf the
paragraph is the key one.
When doubt remains, there is a fifth step. Since a paragraph is
about something – follow the dominant noun from first to last. Pick it
up at or near the beginning and see it through its transformations into
pronouns and synonyms. Doing this will lead you to the main idea, or
convince you that the first sentence was, after all, the topic sentence.
In fact, we offer this procedure
not so you will spend a lot of time lo-
cating the main idea, but so you can
do it quickly. On any occasion, don’t
use any more of the steps than neces-
sary, often only the first two will be
required. You are really aiming to see
the structure or organization of the
paragraph. A later aim will be com-
prehension of all the writer’s material in the paragraph. Then you’ll
read more slowly, and more carefully.
There exist many different ways and methods for correct and ex-
act translating of any research article. We are going to suggest you
one of them which is called as
hermeneutic
approach.
The word hermeneutics is a term derived from ‘hermeneutikos’,
the Greek word for interpreter. This is related to the name of the
Greek god Hermes in his role as the interpreter of the messages of the
gods. Hermes was believed to play tricks on those he was supposed to
give messages to, often changing the messages and influencing the in-
terpretation thereof. The Greek word thus has the basic meaning of
one who makes the meaning clear.
Hermeneutics may be described as the development and study of
theories of the interpretation and understanding of texts. In contempo-
rary usage in religious studies, hermeneutics often refers to study of
the interpretation of Biblical texts. It is more broadly used in contem-
porary philosophy to denote the study of theories and methods of the
interpretation of all texts and systems of meaning. The concept of
"text" is here extended beyond written documents to any number of
objects subject to interpretation, such as experiences. A hermeneutics
is defined as a specific system or method for interpretation, or a spe-
